Columbia Police

Nov. 22

Daniel R. Goforth, 36, of East Carondelet, was arrested shortly before 1:30 a.m. for DUI on Rueck Road at Golden Briar Lane.

Nov. 23

Clint A. Hopkins, 27, of Collinsville, was arrested for DUI, no insurance and a vehicle lighting violation on I-255.

Illinois State Police

Nov. 17

Annalise N. Kuchar, 36, of St. Louis, was charged with obstructing identification, driving while license revoked and illegal transportation of alcohol just before 10 a.m. on northbound I-255 near mile marker 7.

Nov. 21

Bryce R. Hamilton, 20, of Columbia, was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor in the 600 block of Route 158. He was also charged with failure to reduce speed, no insurance and a lane usage violation.

Nov. 21

Emergency personnel responded about 1 a.m. to a pickup truck crash on Route 158 near Columbia Quarry Road at the Monroe-St. Clair County line in Columbia. One person was transported to an area hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries as a result of the crash. 

Several emergency agencies responded about 10:15 a.m. to the eastbound span of the Jefferson Barracks Bridge on I-255 for a distraught female sitting and then standing on the side of the bridge in a possible suicide attempt. I-255 eastbound was closed to all traffic during this incident, with Columbia police, fire department and EMS personnel along with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, St. Louis County police and other Missouri agencies assisting ISP with the delicate situation. Shortly after 10:45 a.m., the female was successfully talked away from the bridge and she is receiving medical attention. 

Millstadt Police

Nov. 15

At 11:55 p.m., Larenzo K. Magee, 28, of Fairview Heights, was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage, speeding, illegal transportation of alcohol and no insurance in the 900 block of East Washington Street.

Nov. 19

David P. Wood, 29, of Belleville, was arrested on a St. Clair County traffic warrant in the 5900 block of Floraville Road.

Monroe County Sheriff

Nov. 18

Damon D. Gray, 47, of East St. Louis, was arrested on a Williamson County warrant and for driving while license revoked on I-255.

Nov. 22

Thomas L. Beard, 30, of Waterloo, was charged with theft for allegedly possessing stolen rock and substrate in the bed of his truck which is believed to have been stolen from a Monroe County Road District property on Outlet Road at B Road in the Bottoms near old Valmeyer. Beard was also charged with unlawful possession of cannabis (driver).

Nov. 23

Jose M. Ramirez, 39, of Collinsville, was arrested about 2:50 a.m. for DUI and driving in the wrong direction on I-255. 

Nov. 24

Deputies assisted the Waterloo Fire Department and other agencies about 8:10 a.m. with a hazmat situation in the 3500 block of HH Road just north of Annbriar Golf Course. A chemical reaction occurred in a dumpster due to pool chemicals, including chlorine, resulting in smoke in the rear of a trash truck. No flames were reported in the incident. The WFD also received assistance from a St. Clair County special services hazmat team as well as the Monroe County Emergency Management Agency. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Waterloo Police

Nov. 18

Tracy M. Duck Vymola, 51, was charged with cruelty to animals in the 500 block of South Church Street.

Nov. 22

Lucas M. Chandler, 30, of Waterloo, was arrested shortly before 3:15 p.m. for DUI, leaving the scene, failure to reduce speed and improper passing in the 700 block of Marney Lane.
