Kermit Constantine General Manager
Kermit is publisher and general manager of the Republic-Times. He lives in downtown Waterloo with his wife Laura and three sons. A 20-year veteran of the US Air Force, Kermit came to the R-T with a decade of sales experience and a love of photography and volunteer service. You'll find him busy at his desk on weekdays and covering local events with his camera on weekends.
Corey Saathoff Editor
Corey is the editor of the Republic-Times. He has worked at the newspaper since 2004, and currently resides in Columbia. He is also the principal singer-songwriter and plays guitar in St. Louis area country-rock band The Trophy Mules.
Tammy Taylor Production Manager
Tammy is an award-winning Graphic Artist for the Republic-Times. She has worked at the newspaper for almost 15 years, while her and her husband Norman, of 34 years, are owners of Sunderman's Garage in Columbia. She enjoys photography and her five grandchildren.
Scott Woodsmall Editorial/Website
Scott is a graduate of Valmeyer High School and the University of Missouri - St. Louis School of Journalism, McKendree University College of Education. He lives in Waterloo with his wife and their toddler son.
Val Chism Advertising Manager
Val has been in newspaper sales for over 25-years. When she is not working with clients to accommodate their advertising budgets, she loves spending time with her five grandkids, listening to Country music and the great outdoors.
Amber Vogel Office
Amber is the office manager for the Republic-Times. A mother of two, Amber enjoys her time with her family and friends and is proud of her children and their accomplishments. She is an avid runner and enjoys watching her son play sports and her husband coach baseball.
Alan Dooley Photographer
Alan is a photojournalist -- he both shoots pictures and writes for the R-T. A 31-year Navy vet, he has lived worldwide, but with his wife Sherry, calls a rambling house south of Waterloo home. Alan counts astronomy as a hobby and is fascinated by just about everything scientific.
Chandra Moffitt Advertising
Chandra is the newest member of the Republic-Times sales staff, although she is highly experienced with news ad sales.
James "Tal" Moss Reporter
James is an alumni of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville where he graduated sumna cum laude with degrees in mass communications and applied communications studies. While in school, he interned at two newspapers and worked at a local grocery store to pay for his education. When not working for the Republic-Times
, he enjoys watching movies, reading, playing video games and spending time with his friends.
