Suzanne F. “Suzy” Homrighausen (nee Mehrtens), 59, of Red Bud, died April 19, 2024, in Belleville. She was born Jan. 17, 1965, in Belleville.

She is survived by her husband Dennis Homrighausen; son Ryan Homrighausen; brother and  sisters Denise (Joseph) Leiteritz, Dana (Roger) Sherman, Brian (Robyn) Mehrtens and Cindy (Scott) Roever.

Suzy is preceded in death by her parents Dale J. and Wilma R. (nee Stilts) Mehrtens.

Visitation is 2-5 p.m. April 23 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

A funeral service will follow at the funeral home with Msgr. Dennis Schaefer officiating.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to donor’s choice.
