Columbia Police

April 18

Penny J. Fowler, 50, of St. Louis, was arrested shortly after 12:45 a.m. for a St. Clair County warrant on Route 3 at EE Road.

MEGSI

April 19

Mason M. Czar, 43, of Madison, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine and fentanyl) and possession of cannabis (driver).

Millstadt Police

April 13

Police investigated an incident of graffiti on the bleachers at Tuffy Mueth Field. Juveniles responsible for the vandalism were identified and cleanup was performed.

April 14

A reported burglary to a storage shed at 3536 Douglas Road is under investigation. Someone unlawfully entered the storage shed and stole a Matthews Solo Cam compound bow and PSE compound bow, both camouflage in color. It is unknown when the burglary occurred, however, it may have been anytime between January and the date of the report.  

April 21

At 2:45 p.m., Delano D. Anderson, 26, of Millstadt, was arrested on an outstanding Clinton County felony warrant and St. Clair County traffic warrants during a citizen contact on South Illinois Street.

Missouri Highway Patrol

April 15

A crash involving a local resident occurred about 5:50 a.m. on I-70 westbound in Cooper County just west of Columbia, Mo. A 2013 Freightliner driven by Kevin L. Gibbs, 61, of Waterloo, rear-ended a 1994 Kenworth driven by Jonas A. Watson, 40, of Suffolk, Va. Watson was transported by ambulance to University Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. 

Monroe County Sheriff

April 15

Valerie M. Debello, 41, of St. Louis, was charged with possession of methamphetamine. She was also charged with obstruction for allegedly providing a false name to a deputy.

Evan S. Thomas, 44, of Waterloo, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license revoked on Route 3 at Bottom Avenue in Columbia.

Leta A. Casagrande, 46, of Columbia, was charged with driving while license suspended due to DUI conviction while eligible for a monitoring device driving permit.

Tyrone R. Bills, 43, of East St. Louis, was charged with felony driving while license revoked due to DUI (third offense) on Route 3 at GG Road in Waterloo.

April 21

Nicholas M. Galle, 26, of Millstadt, was cited shortly before 1:10 a.m. for reckless driving, improper lane usage and wrong way on a one-way street on Route 3 at EE Road.

Ricky D. Niemeyer, 35, of Baldwin, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant for driving while license revoked.

Randolph County Sheriff

April 22

The Prairie du Rocher Fire Department responded shortly before noon to the report of power lines down and a wooded area on fire in the area of 7998 Carr Road. Some residents in that area reported a power outage into the early afternoon hours. Ameren was notified of the situation.

Waterloo Police

April 13

Michelle R. Alidani, 44, of Arnold, Mo., was arrested shortly after 1:20 a.m. for DUI, speeding, expired registration and improper lane usage on Route 3 at Halifax Drive.

April 18

Emergency personnel responded about 10:15 a.m. to a two-vehicle crash on Hamacher Street at Washington Street. No injuries were reported in the crash, which involved a red Ford F150 and a white Nissan SUV.

April 20

Kaleb G. Teeter, 24, of Columbia, was arrested shortly before 1:15 a.m. for DUI (intoxicating compound), unlawful possession of cannabis (driver) and driving while
