John Henry Cleveland,  84, born Nov. 24, 2025, in Mt. Vernon, Ind. died May 12, 2025, at his residence in Deleon Springs, Fla. 

John proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He lived most of his adult life in Waterloo, working as a truck driver in logistics.

He is survived by his children John Hubert Cleveland, Beth Ann McKenna and Susan Ann (David) McGee; brothers Bill (Sharon) Cleveland and Richard (Cristal) Cleveland; sisters Estelle Casey, Bonnie (Randy) Lake, Wanda Jordan, Ruby (Shane) Gaster, Sheila Ainsle and Rebecca Hartmann; and grandchildren, great-grand children and one great-great-grandchild.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Florence Cleveland; wife Wanda Leigh (nee Hergenroeder) Cleveland; daughter Mildred Irene Keim; son Lonnie Seals Cleveland; and brothers David and Bobby Cleveland. 

A memorial service will  be held at 2:30 p.m. June 4 at Jefferson Barracks Memorial Cemetery in St. Louis.
