Darrell D. Madden | Obituary

Darrell D. Madden, 50, of Evansville, died March 7, 2015 in Washington County.

He was born March 4, 1965 in Belleville, son of Fred J. Madden Sr. and the late Joan M. Madden, nee Coleman.

He was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the National Quarter Horse Association and National Snaffle Bit Association. He received his bachelor’s degree in equestrian science from SIUC.

He is survived by his father, Fred J. Madden Sr. of Evansville; brothers Fred (Becky) Madden Jr. of Prairie du Rocher and Mike Madden of St. Louis, Mo.; nieces Jaclyn (Kevin) Meehan and Kristen (Dan) Goedell; two great-nephews, Jackson Miller and Shane Meehan; one great-niece Myla Miller; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan.

Visitation will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. March 11 and 9 to 10:30 a.m. March 12 at Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home in Red Bud.

A funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. March 12 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville.

Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
