Bobby G. Stewart | Obituary

Bobby G. Stewart, 80, of Waterloo, died Feb. 6, 2024, in Fenton, Mo. He was born May 16, 1943, in Frederick, Okla.

Bobby was retired from USDA/NRCS. He received his master’s degree in soil science from Oklahoma State University.

He is survived by his wife Ruth (nee Weilbacher) Stewart; brother Bill (Joyce) Stewart; sister Carol Gilpen; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Linda Stewart, Armin Weilbacher Jr., Dorothy (Gene) Stadter, Ed (Kathi) Weilbacher, Nancy (Bob) Schaefer, Denis Weilbacher, Donald Weilbacher, Monica Weilbacher and Andy (DeDe) Weilbacher; a niece; nephews; and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Clara (nee Britton) Stewart; brothers and sisters Robert Stewart Jr., Faye Long, Wayne Stewart, Mary Wynn and Judy Reese.

Visitation is 10 a.m. until time of service Feb. 9 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Linus Umoren C.M. officiating.

Interment will be at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Waterloo.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to family wishes.
