Anne Barbeau
Anne Barbeau (nee Prohaska), 95, of Waterloo, died Feb. 1, 2013, in Smithton.
She was born Jan. 13, 1918, in East St. Louis, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Prohaska (nee Mach).
She was married to the late Howard D. Barbeau.
Mrs. Barbeau was retired from Famous-Barr Co.
Survivors include her sons Larry (Sharon) Barbeau, Donald (Doris) Barbeau, and Tom (Pat) Barbeau; grandchildren Michelle (Richard) Chausse, Kimberly (Scott) Doiron, Lori (Terry) Sims, Kristy (Andy) Shondy, Traci (Tony) Biffar, Mark (Hannah) Pigman, and Jodi (Brian) Moddell; and great-grandchildren Jacob Shondy, Michael, William, Nicholas and Patrick Chausse, Ethan Doiron, and Devin, Lucas and Emily Biffar; along with nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her great-granddaughters Lucy and Mary Chausse, and brother Joseph Prohaska.
Visitation was Feb. 4-5, at Quernheim Funeral Home.
Funeral services were Feb. 5, at the funeral home, Pastor Matt Friz officiating.
Interment followed at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery, Waterloo.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
