Roy P. Nobbe, 90, of Waterloo, died May 4, 2014 in Waterloo.

He was born Jan. 10, 1924 in Valmeyer, son of the late William and Frieda (nee Stemler) Nobbe.

Roy is survived by wife Alice Nobbe (nee Rabbermann); children Bonnie (Stanley) Marquardt and Dennis (Nancy) Nobbe; grandchildren Scott (Nicole) Marquardt, Angela (Tim) Williams, Bill Nobbe and Matt Nobbe; sister Edna Rabbermann; sister-in-law Adele Vogt; great-grandchildren Jacob, Joshua, Ryan, Evan, Rylee and Alyssa, along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers William and Louis Nobbe, sister Esther Stumpf and twin sister Ruth Offermann.

Visitation took place May 5-6 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

Funeral services took place May 6 at the funeral home.

Interment followed at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo.
