Gregory and Yvonne Howell ofWaterloo celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Aug. 22, 2014.

They were married Aug. 22, 1959 at Holy Family Church in Cahokia. Gregory and Yvonne are both retired.

Their children are Joe and Lori Howell of Ferguson, Mo., Chris and Carol Howell of Columbia, Yvette and Wes Hoeffken of Columbia, Jeanine and Danny Muskopf of Millstadt, Rita and Ron Belaska of Columbia, and Madelon Howell of Waterloo.

They have 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The Howells celebrated their anniversary at Immaculate Conception Church in Columbia and Waterloo Country Club.
