Julie and Charlie Ewen of Waterloo announce the birth of their son, Emmett Charles Ewen.

He was born Nov. 12, 2015, at 4:09 p.m., at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis. He weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 21.25 inches long.

He was welcomed to the family by his proud big sister, Elayna, 2.

His maternal grandparents are Barb and Jim Henneberry. Paternal grandparents are Pam Vogt and Tony Ewen.

His great-grandparents are Virginia Ewen, Irene Vogt and Joann Henneberry.
