Emily Michele Wilson and Brandon Charles Kruse of Waterloo have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Connie (Frank) and Nino Cammarata and Shawn and Sabra Wilson. She is a 2006 graduate of Waterloo High School and a 2009 graduate of Missouri State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She is currently a student at Logan College of Chiropractic and will graduate in August 2014.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Marvin and Pat Kruse. He is a 2004 graduate of Waterloo High School and a 2008 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, where he earned a Bachelor Science in Construction Management from the School of Engineering. He is currently employed with Kruse Contracting.

The couple are planning an Oct. 4, 2014, wedding.
