Doris and Willard Meister

Willard Meister and Doris (Hesterberg) Meister celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 28 at Acorns Golf Links.

They were married on June 19, 1949 at St. John United Church of Christ in Maeystown.

They have three children, Deb (Bob) Barnes, Kent (Karen) Meister and Pam (Terry) Rippelmeyer.

The Meisters have seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Tammy is an award-winning Graphic Artist for the Republic-Times. She has worked at the newspaper for almost 15 years, while her and her husband Norman, of 34 years, are owners of Sunderman's Garage in Columbia. She enjoys photography and her five grandchildren.
