Two-vehicle crash on Route 3 in Columbia

Columbia police, fire and EMS responded to a two-vehicle crash about 1 p.m. Friday on Route 3 at Valmeyer Road.

The vehicles were a maroon GMC Acadia with Missouri license plates and a white compact car. Reports from the scene are that one person in each vehicle was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.
