Four fire departments battled a late Thursday morning structure fire in Dupo.

The Dupo, Cahokia, Prairie du Pont and Columbia fire departments responded at about 11 a.m. to a working structure fire at 603 Minnie Avenue.

The fire was reported to be under control with ventilation of the residence and general firefighter overhaul tasks taking place by 11:20 a.m. Initial reports are that the interior of the home sustained serious damage.
