Raymond Marchwinski | Obituary

Raymond Marchwinski, 86, of Waterloo, died Jan. 23, 2024. He was born in Todds Mill on Dec. 15, 1937. 

During his lifetime Raymond was a truck driver, last working at Superior Trucking before his retirement. He enjoyed junking, working on the farm, repairing cars and trucks and fixing and remodeling the house.

Raymond is survived by his sons Michael Marchwinski, Mark (Donna) Marchwinski and Matt Marchwinski; daughter Mary K. Marchwinski; grandchildren Dennis, Sharon and Nate (Erika) Marchwinski, Rachel and Brian Marchwinski and Jeff and Scott Nanney; along with other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Michael and Bertha (Maloway) Marchwinski, his wife of 58 years, Kathleen (Price) Marchwinski, several brothers and a sister. 

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 27 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville. 

A funeral will follow at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Belleville. 

Memorials may be made in Raymond’s name to St. Mary’s Alumni Association, St. Louis, or given at the funeral home.
