Michael Steingrubey

Michael Steingrubey, 53, of Red Bud, died Dec. 4, 2012, in Waterloo.

He was born Oct. 14, 1959, in Red Bud, son of Richard and Dorothy Steingrubey; they survive.

Steingrubey was owner of Town & Country Auto Supply in Waterloo, and was a member of St. Patrick Church in Tipton.

In addition to his parents, surviving relatives include wife Sandy Steingrubey (nee Van de Riet); children Kelly and Chad Steingrubey; granddaughter Taylor Clifford; brother Rick Steingrubey; sisters Debbie (Jim) Moses and Brenda Spradling; father-in-law James (Charlene) Van de Riet; grandmother-in-law Leona Burkhardt; along with sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by sister Christine M. Geolat and mother-in-law Barbara Van de Riet.

Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, and 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

Funeral Mass is set for 10 a.m., Dec. 8, at St. Patrick Church in Tipton, Father John Kizhak officiating.

Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Madonnaville.

Memorials may be made to Southern Illinois Hospice, or to Masses at St. Patrick Church in Tipton.
