Lillian L. Peters, nee Poeschel, 91, of Belleville, died May 25, 2014 in Waterloo.

She is survived by daughter Susan (Sam) Kennedy; grandchildren Daniel (Kendra) Kennedy, Timothy (Kelly) Kennedy, Lauren Kennedy and Lindsay Kennedy; great-grandchildren Annabelle and Peter Kennedy, Connor and Knox Kennedy; and brother Rudolph Poeschel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert Michael Peters, sons William Rodney and Allan William, brothers and sisters Florence Scott, Anna Tune, Frank Poeschel, Chrissie Poeschel, Howard Poeschel and  Clarence Poeschel.

Visitation took place May 27 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

A funeral service took place May 27 at the funeral home.

Interment followed at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Belleville.
