Jeanette L. Detrich

Jeanette L. Detrich (nee Lilly), 77, of Columbia, died Oct. 26, 2013, in St. Louis.

She was born Nov. 9, 1935, in Wolf Lake, daughter of the late Harry and Bonnie Lilly (nee Franklin).

Mrs. Detrich was a longtime parishioner at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia. She loved to cook, garden, collect seashells, and make stain glass ornaments. She was a loving mother, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her son, David M. (Denise) Detrich, of Walhalla, S.C.; a sister, Carol S. Lilly, of Bonne Terre, Mo.; two nephews, Robert E. Moore, of St. Louis, and Richard K. (Debra) Moore, of Collinsville; and a great nephew, Christopher R. Moore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by  her sister June Madden.

Visitation is Thursday, Oct. 31, from 9 to 11 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Oct. 31, at  11 a.m., at the church, Msgr. Carl E. Scherrer officiating.

Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights.
