James A. Ruff

James A. Ruff, 73, of Waterloo, died April 28, 2015, in Red Bud.

He was born July 28, 1941, in Belleville, son of the late Theodore W. and Dorina E. Ruff (nee Straub).

James was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waterloo and he worked at Concordia Publishing House of St. Louis for 42 years.

He is survived by his wife Lois Ruff; children Christine (Jeff) Felts and Kevin (Tara) Ruff; granddaughter Alexis Ruff; brother Kenneth (Shirley) Ruff; sister-in-law Gladys Ruff; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald Ruff.

Visitation will be Friday, May 1, from noon to 2 p.m., at Quernheim Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at the funeral home at 2 p.m., Pastor Tony Troup officiating.

Interment will follow at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo.

As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Youth Group.
