Amy Lynn Hank and Richard Kenneth Lowe

Amy Lynn Hank and Richard Kenneth Lowe of Waterloo have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Wayne Hank of Waterloo and Janet and Steve Urciuoli of Waterloo. She is a graduate of Waterloo High School and Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is a real estate agent with The Amy Hank Real Estate Team Powered by Keller Williams Marquee.

The prospective groom is the son of Ms. Kathy Lowe of Belleville and Chuck and Tracy Lowe of Belleville. He is a graduate of Belleville West High School and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in school counseling. Rick is employed by East St. Louis School District 189 as a middle school teacher.

Amy is the granddaughter of Margaret Kutterer of Waterloo and the late Thomas Kutterer; and William Hank of Matteson, and the late Betty Hank; and the late Marie and Ray Shelton of S. Chicago Heights. 

Rick is the grandson of Arlou Lowe of Red Bud and the late Richard Lowe of Belleville; and the late Kenneth and Shirley Dahm of Belleville. 

The couple are planning an Oct. 20, 2018, wedding.
