Geneva Lou Hilda Schaack

Geneva Lou Hilda Schaack (nee Lenhardt), 83, of Waterloo, died July 16, 2018, in Columbia.

She was born Nov. 27, 1934, in Waterloo, daughter of the late Harry and Luella Lenhardt (nee Sensel).

She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Waterloo, and Red Post 6632 Auxiliary. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed playing cards.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Darwin Schaack; daughters Debra (Mark) Keim of Waterloo and Patricia (Gerald) Weilbacher of Columbia; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jim and Carol Mueller; sister-in-law Florence Lenhardt; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, son Rickey Schaack, three sons in infancy, daughter-in-law Linda Schaack, granddaughter Brittany Schaack, sister Grace (Ottis) Briscoe, brother Roger Lenhardt, father-in-law and mother-in-law Elmer and Frieda Schaack (nee Degener), and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Earl and Delores Parrott and Norman and Ruth Andres.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. July 18, and 9-10 a.m. July 19, at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. July 19, at the funeral home, Pastor Michael Southcombe officiating.

Interment will follow at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery, Waterloo.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
