Wednesday field fire near Renault

Prairie du Rocher and Maeystown fire departments were called shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon for a report of a wheat field on fire in the 5500 block of VV Road near Renault.

The departments extinguished the blaze and cleared the scene around 3:35 p.m.
