Emma E. Schultheis, 14, of Prairie du Rocher, died July 21, 2025, in St. Louis. She was born July 27, 2010, in Marion.

Emma was a member of St. John United Church of Christ – Maeystown, Red Bud High School, FFA, Maeystown 4-H Clovers Club, various grade school and high school sports, and she enjoyed showing her livestock.

She is survived by her parents David A. and Amanda  L. (nee Casten) Schultheis; grandparents Ruth (Ron) Kueker and David Casten and David and Shannon Schultheis; great-grandmother Ruth Heldebrandt; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. July 28 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo and 10-11 a.m. July 29, 2025 at St. John United Church of Christ in Maeystown.

A funeral service will follow visitation at the church with Pastor Patrick Poole officiating.

Interment will be at St. John Cemetery in Fults.

As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to family wishes.
