Electrical wire struck in Waterloo

The Waterloo Fire Department and City of Waterloo utility workers responded around 3 p.m. Friday to 100 block of W. Mill Street in Waterloo for a report of a disconnected electrical wire.

The line had been hit by the roof of a food service truck traveling north on N. Church Street. Fire crews cleared the scene around 3:25 p.m. as utility workers continued to repair the line.
