Natalie Jo Eichelberger of Swansea and Christopher Andrew Bachmann of Belleville have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tim and Kathy Eichelberger (nee Whelan) of Swansea. She is a graduate of Althoff Catholic High School, Belleville, and the University of Oklahoma with a master’s degree in museum studies. She is employed as a STEM outreach programs associate at the Academy of Science of St. Louis.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Steve and Ann Bachmann (nee Bresnan) of Belleville. He is a graduate of Saint Louis University High School and Maryville University with a bachelor’s degree in music therapy. He is employed as a music therapist at the Metropolitan St. Louis Psychiatric Center.

The couple are planning an Oct. 8, 2016, wedding.
