CPD searching for two burglary suspects

The Columbia Police Department announced Tuesday it has obtained arrest warrants for two suspects in connection with residential burglaries that occurred in the 1700 block of Clover Ridge on Jan. 28 and the 600 block of Pines Way on Feb. 3.

Warrants have been issued for Justin D. Sherrard, 23, of St. Louis, and Aubrey W. Young, 27, of Florissant, on two counts of residential burglary. Bond was set at $50,000.

 Both suspects remain at large, police said.

“If anyone knows the location of these two suspects, they are asked to call the Columbia Police Department at 618-281-5151,” Columbia Police Chief Joe Edwards said.

Columbia police thanked the Metro East Auto Theft Task Force, SIUE Police Department and St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for their assistance with this case.
