Columbia Police
Aug. 22 – Molly A. Maness, 21, of East St. Louis, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.
Aug. 23 – Paul W. McFadden, 32, of Granite City, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.
Aug. 27 – Sara N. Farris, 26, of St. Louis, was arrested on a Greene County warrant for deceptive practice on I-255 westbound.

Monroe County Sheriff
Aug. 21 – A report of criminal damage to a vehicle on East Lincoln Street in Hecker is under investigation. Pry marks were observed on one of the doors.
Aug. 21 – The report of gas and license plates stolen from a vehicle in the area of 7800 D Road is under investigation.
Aug. 25 – Christopher L. Garner, 34, of Red Bud, was arrested for a Randolph County warrant on Main Street in Hecker.
Aug. 25 – Robert Whaley, 26, of Belleville, was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol (passenger) on Route 3 at Gilmore Lake Road.
Aug. 28 – Katey J. Doyle, 18, of Sparta, was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon (stun gun) at Career Center of Southern Illinois (formerly Beck Area Career Center).

Waterloo Police
Aug. 16 – Krista Wrinkle, 21, of Waterloo, was issued a civil violation for possession of cannabis on Hecker Street at South Market.
Aug. 21 – Christopher Janson, 46, of Waterloo, was issued a city ordinance violation for disorderly conduct after he allegedly urinated on one of the monuments in the athletic complex at Waterloo High School.
Aug. 22 – A woman was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of injuries sustained when shelving fell on her at Rural King in Waterloo. No other information was available.
Aug. 23 – Gary Ruskaup, 69, of Columbia, was arrested for retail theft after allegedly taking a bag of fertilizer and bag of grass seed from Walmart.
Aug. 24 – Cody Atkins, 20, of Columbia, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (alprazolam) and felony obstruction of justice at Circle K, 209 S. Market Street.
Aug. 25 – Brain Helvey, 37, of Waterloo, was arrested for felony domestic battery at Sunset Motel, 206 S. Market Street.
Aug. 26 – Andrew Reifschneider, 19, and Tayler Toal, 19, both of Waterloo, were cited for unlawful possession of alcohol on North Market Street at Columbia Avenue.
Aug. 28 – Floyd R. Posey, 76, of Waterloo, was arrested for domestic battery in the 600 block of Lakeview Drive.
Aug. 29 – Aaron Brigance, 22, of Waterloo, was charged with felony aggravated battery and felony mob action following an Aug. 10 altercation outside of Fourth Street Bar, 301 S. Moore Street. Court information alleges that Brigance made physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature and knowingly disturbed the public peace by striking and kicking Deangelo Miller and throwing him to the ground. A warrant has also been issued for the arrest of another man involved in the incident.
