William E. “Bill” Brandt died Feb. 2, 2014.

He was the beloved husband of Cecilia Brant, nee Rueschhoff, for 61 years; father of Barbara (Rick) Huelsing, David (Cheryl) Brandt, Joseph (Geriann) Brandt, Kathleen (Tim) Zingrich and Mary Ellen (Rick) Kowalewski.

He was the proud grandpa of 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; dear brother to Audrey (Tom) Carse and the late Charles and Gene Brandt; dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

He was also the former owner of W.E. Brandt Inc.

Funeral services were on Feb. 8 at Assumption Catholic Church in St. Louis.

Visitation was Feb. 7.

Memorials may be made to the Backstoppers or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
