Amanda Seib & Michael Hoosen

Amanda Rae Seib and Michael James Hoosen have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dean and Ann Seib of Millstadt, and the granddaughter of Marcella Klein of Paderborn and the late Ignatius Klein, and the late Bill and Ethel Seib. She is a 2007 graduate of Gibault Catholic High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. She is employed as a logistics and international accounts payable associate at Tacony Corporation in Fenton, Mo.

The groom-to-be is the son of Ken and Becky Hoosen of Galesburg, and the grandson of Lester Sr. and Marcella Johnson, and Thelma Bloome and the late Wilbert Bloome, and Gene Hoosen. He is a 2006 graduate of Galesburg High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He is employed as a management trainee with Enterprise in Belleville.

The couple are planning an August 2013 wedding.
