Rosemary J. Dearing

Rosemary J. Dearing (nee Jung), of St. Louis, formerly of Waterloo, died Jan. 2, 2014, in St. Louis.

She was born June 24, 1920, daughter of the late Charles and Wilhelmina (nee Rosemann) Jung.

She was married to Reed Dearing, who precedes her death.

She was a volunteer for PACE, St. Alexius Hospital Auxiliary and St. Agatha Food Pantry. As a member of St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic Church, she received the 2013 St. Louis Archdiocesan Woman’s Award Servant of the Poor.

Survivors include her brother Robert L. Jung, sisters-in-law Miriam Jung and Jane Jung, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephew and her adopted family, Michael, Monika and Alexander Ceno.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Lawrence Jung, Cletus Jung and sister Doris Jung.

A funeral service took place Jan. 7 at St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic Church.

Visitation was Jan. 6 at Chulick Funeral Home in St. Louis.

Interment followed at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Waterloo.
