Ashley Marie Roediger, daughter of Mike and Debbie Roediger and Jeremy Alan Reichert, son of Dave and Debbie Reichert, were married June 23, 2013.

The ceremony took place at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Columbia, with Pastor Steven Theiss officiating the ceremony.

Escorted down the aisle prior to the wedding party were grandparents of the bride and groom Bob and Judy Simek, Gilbert and Vera Reichert, and Mildred Peters.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Emily Spitz as maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Ashton Harwood, Jenn Duel, Julie Whitlock, Kelley Runge, Abby Lunneen, and the groom’s sister Anna Reichert.

The best man was Ryan Peters, who traveled from Seattle, Washington to attend the wedding.  The groomsmen were the bride’s brothers Erik Roediger, and Nick Roediger, Larry Hargrove, Scott Heck, Jay Whitlock, and Derek Reichert.

Ashley’s young cousins, Joli Barnett, Josie Reeves and Ava Reeves preceded the bride down the aisle as flower girls.  Jeremy’s young cousin, Jarrett Johnson, was the ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, the couple helped celebrate with over 400 family members and friends at Turner Hall in Columbia.  The bride’s uncle, Jon Wehrenberg, delivered the dinner prayer.

The bride graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication. She is currently employed at the Lutheran Church Extension Fund in Kirkwood, Mo.

The groom graduated from Southwestern Illinois College with an Associate’s Degree in Web Design.  He is currently employed at Linnemann Lawn Care & Landscaping in Columbia.

After a honeymoon in Antigua, the couple reside in a historic home in Columbia.
