Abigail Ashleigh Perdue and Giles Michael Walsh of Columbia have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Charles and Cynthia Perdue of Atchison, Kan.

She is a graduate of Mount St. Scholastica Academy in Atchison, Kan., and DePaul University in Chicago with a Master of Science in Public Services Management. She is employed as a community outreach coordinator at Associated Bank in Waterloo.

The groom-to-be is the son of Michael and Mariella Walsh of Columbia. He is a graduate of St. Louis University High School in St. Louis and Chicago Kent College of Law with a juris doctorate.

He is employed as a corporate associate at Greensfelder, Hemker, Gale P.C. in St. Louis.

The couple are planning a Dec. 28, 2013, wedding.
