Caitlin Louise Nappier and Kyle R. Cross

Caitlin Louise Nappier of Valmeyer and Kyle R. Cross of Pekin were married April 29, 2017, at St. Mary Catholic Church of Valmeyer, Father Urban Osuji and Father Felix Chukwuma officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Julie Nappier of Valmeyer. The bridegroom is the son of Greg and Terri Cross of Pekin.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Michael Nappier.

The maid of honor was Grace Nappier. Bridesmaids were Eleanor Brewer, Jessie Pratt, Mikala Torrence, Shena Martin, Morgan Baer, Alyssa Wedemeyer and Shelby Faulkner. Lilly Cross was the flower girl.

The best man was Trace Chambers. Groomsmen were Ryan Cross, Adam Cross, Mark Nappier, Hunter Brewer, Miguel Villegas, Connor Hanley and Matt Davis. Aidyn Cross was the ring bearer.

Guests were seated by Tom Gartzke and William Brewer.

The reader was Carrie Brewer. The guest book attendant was Tracy Gartzke and programs were distributed by Aidan Brewer and Gabriel Gartzke.

The organist was Marcia Braswell with vocalist Seth Acock.

The bride is a graduate of Valmeyer High School and Fontbonne University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She is currently a student at Logan University, studying to earn a master’s degree in nutrition and health performance, and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. She is employed as a Coach sales associate. 

The groom is a graduate of Pekin High School, Fontbonne University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and Webster University with a master’s degree in human resources. He is employed as the human resource coordinator at Cordell and Cordell Litigation Firm.

A reception followed the ceremony at Turner Hall.

The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
