Lloyd A. Hoffmann | Obituary

Lloyd A.  Hoffmann, 80, of Waterloo, died April 29, 2016, in Belleville.

He was born Feb. 4, 1936, in Fults, son of the late Ferdinand G. and Leona Hoffmann (nee Hoefft).

Lloyd was a member of the United Church of Christ, Monroe County Farm Bureau, Beaver Lake Fishing Club and Maeystown Kloepper Club.

He is survived by his wife Bette Jean Hoffmann (nee Fauss); daughter Vicki (Roger) Taake; daughter-in-law Amy (Gene) Rohlfing; grandchildren Derek and Claire Hoffmann; step-granddaughter Cari (Dan) Chaudet; step-great-grandchild Addison Chaudet: brother Calvin “Butch” (Joanne) Hoffmann; nephew Scott (Marsha) Hoffmann; niece Donna (David) Nicholson; and aunts, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son Keith Hoffmann.

Visitation and funeral services were May 1-2, at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo, Pastor Patrick Poole officiating.

Interment followed at St. John Cemetery, Maeystown.

As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to St. John Cemetery Asphalt Fund, Maeystown.
