Laverne S. Schultheis

Laverne S. Schultheis (nee Prange), 82, of Prairie du Rocher, died March 9, 2013, in Red Bud.
She was born Feb. 10, 1931, in Fults, daughter of the late Adolph and Hilda Prange (nee Nagel).
She was married to the late Charles W. Schultheis; he preceded her in death.
Schultheis was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Renault.
Survivors include children Ronald (Suzanne) Schultheis, Kenneth (Sandra) Schultheis, Donald Schultheis (friend Kathy Weber), Doris (Steven) Mosbacher, and Robert (Karen) Schultheis; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Vera Schultheis; and brother-in-law Lylburn Nevois; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by grandson Jesse Schultheis, and sister Erlene Nevois.
Visitation was March 11 at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo, and March 12 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Renault.
Funeral services were March 12 at the church, Pastor Ralph E. Laufer officiating.
Interment followed at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Renault.
Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Renault, or Leukemia Fund.
