Jerry Lee Rowden

Jerry Lee Rowden, 77, of South St. Louis County, Mo., died July 15, 2014, his beloved Mary, wife of 56 years, by his side.

He was born March 25, 1937, son to Thomas Franklin and Wilma (McIntosh) Rowden.

Mr. Rowden was a retired letter carrier (NALC Branch 343).

In addition to his wife, survivors include children Kathi (Kenton) May of Fults and Tim (Kim) Rowden of Arnold, Mo.; grandchildren Kolton and Kyleen May, and Connor, Ian, Emma and Quinn Rowden;  and siblings Dana (Whittenberg) and Bill Swearingen of Springfield, Mo.

Visitation is set for 4 to 9 p.m. July 17 at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255  Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis.

Funeral services will take place July 18 at Kutis Funeral Home.

Internment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lewy Body Dementia  Association are requested.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Woodlands and SSM Hospice.
