Katie Lynn Herrmann and Shane Thomas O’Brien have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dan and Rhonda Herrmann of Columbia.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Tom and Missy Lenga, and William O’Brien of Waterloo.

The couple are planning a June 8, 2013, wedding.
