Burnell Yearian | Obituary

Burnell Yearian (nee Burton), 92, of Belleville, died Dec. 9, 2013, in Waterloo.

She was born Nov. 5, 1921, in East St. Louis, daughter of the late Guy and Elizabeth Burton.

She was married to Clifford F. Yearian; he preceded her in death.

Ms. Yearian was a homemaker and member of Grace Church in Fairview Heights.

Survivors include her sons Doug (Stephanie) Yearian and  David (Dena) Yearian; daughter-in-law Louise Yearian; brother Guy Norman (Betty) Burton; sister Beverly (Terry) Blaies; along with 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Clifford Dale Yearian; brother Lynn Burton; sister Helen Ray and great-grandson Hunter Yearian.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 11 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville.

Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Dec. 12, at the funeral home, Pastor Hal Santos officiating.

Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Fairview Heights. Memorials may be made to Pancreatic and Bladder Cancer or to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
