Sarah Andres and Lamar Sale IV were married on July 20, 2013, in an outdoor ceremony at Barren Ridge Vineyards in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

The bride is the daughter of Howard (Darryl) Andres of Springfield, Va., and the late Col. (ret.) Howard (Jack) Andres, both formerly of Valmeyer.

The groom is the son of Lt. Col. (ret.) and Mrs. Lamar Sale III of Staunton, Va.

Jane and Erin Andres, nieces of the bride, were junior bridesmaids. Mike Mahrer, friend of the groom, was the best man. Aidan Andres, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

Readers were Damon Andres, brother of the bride, and Thomas Wright, friend of the groom.

Following the reception at the vineyard, the couple went on a two-week honeymoon in Italy. They reside in Staunton, Va.
