Windows being smashed out of cars in Columbia

Columbia police are urging the community to be on alert and report suspicious activity following multiple reports of windows being smashed out of vehicles around town.

Over the past week, four such incidents have been reported in Columbia, all taking place during the evening. The incidents have taken place on Hickory Lane, Ghent Road, North Main Street and East Legion Street, police said.

Nothing was reported missing from the damaged vehicles, police added.
