Waterloo Santa Float set to ride Dec. 17-24

The Waterloo German Band’s popular Santa Float will again spread holiday cheer to all who are near Dec. 17-24.

This project is made possible by donations from local businesses and residents.

Santa’s float will begin its ride every evening at 5 p.m., visiting neighborhoods throughout the city of Waterloo and handing out goodie bags to children.

On Dec. 17 and Dec. 21, the float will visit Rose Meadows, Sterritt’s Run, Dannehold Farms, Lou-Del, Stoney Creek, Lakeview Estates, Westview Acres, Silver Creek Crossing, West Lake Estates, Sunset Acres and The Meadows.

On Dec. 18 and Dec. 22, the float will visit Pautler Heights, the area near Gibault, North Winds, Garden Place, area near the VFW, downtown Waterloo, Leland Terrace and Springview Acres.

On Dec. 19 and Dec. 23, the float will visit Market Street East, Sandalwood, Greenfield Manor, Morrison Avenue, Hardy Acres, Bellefontaine Heights, Stonefield, Vandebrook and Southview Villas.

On Dec. 20 and Dec. 24, the float will visit the Villas at Bradford, Marney’s Clearing, Bradford Estates, Remlok, East Ridge, Quail Ridge, The Ridge, Oak Hill, Legacy Place, Parkwood and Country Lakes.
