Tuesday evening crash in Columbia

Emergency personnel responded shortly after 7 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash near Phillips 66 Midwest Petroleum in the 1500 block of N. Main Street.

One woman was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Another person was transported by a family member to get checked out at a hospital.

One vehicle had slowed to turn into State Bank, resulting in a trailing vehicle colliding with its rear.
