Emergency personnel responded about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday to a multi-vehicle crash on I-255 northbound near milepost 5 in Columbia.

Initial reports are that injuries were minor in nature.

While police, EMS and fire department personnel were ending to this crash, a wrong-way driver was observed traveling on I-255 near the crash area. This driver was able to veer off into the median and resume travel in the correct direction of travel without further incident.
