Emergency personnel responded in rainy conditions to a two-vehicle crash on Route 3 southbound near Kevin Street just north of the Mobil On The Run gas station in Waterloo shortly after 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Responding agencies included the Waterloo police and fire departments and Monroe County EMS.

Police said a 1999 Honda Accord driven by a 16-year-old male from East Carondelet struck the rear of a 2018 Ford Explorer driven by Kaylee L. Fisk, 23, of Columbia, which was stopped in traffic. A passenger in Fisk’s vehicle, Madilyn Jordan, 19, of Columbia, was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
