Police Blotter 9/10/14

Columbia Police

Sept. 5: Jamilla J. Franklin, 35, of Belleville, was arrested for theft, disorderly conduct, altering a registration sticker and unlawful possession of a registration sticker.

Police and EMS responded to the area of South Main Street near Dairy Queen for a minor two-vehicle crash shortly before noon. The vehicles involved were a Chevy Monte Carlo and a van. Only minor injuries were reported.

Columbia police, fire and EMS personnel responded shortly after 4:15 p.m. to the 200 block of East Temple Street after a woman drove her car through the back of her garage, causing structural damage. The woman was treated for minor injuries sustained from airbag deployment.

Monroe County Sheriff

Aug. 25: Robert Huffines of Cahokia was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.

Aug. 27: A possible report of harassment by electronic device on Back Street in Hecker is under investigation.

Aug. 29: Alexander Lewis, 19, and Casey M. Kolmer, 18, both of Waterloo, were cited for unlawful consumption of alcohol on Goeddeltown Road.

Lonnie Rohr of Prairie du Rocher was arrested on a Bond County warrant.

John Newport of St. Louis was arrested on an in-state warrant.

Sept. 3: Patrick White of Gray Summit, Mo., was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.

Sept. 7: A possible report of domestic battery during a custody exchange at the YMCA is under investigation.

Sept. 9: A report of burglary at CenterPoint Energy, 11839 Bluff Road near Columbia, is under investigation. A lock was cut and a fourwheeler and trailer were stolen.

Valmeyer Police

Sept. 8: The report of a stolen bike from a home in the 100 block of E. Harrisonville Drive is under investigation.

Waterloo Police

Sept. 6: Anthony Ruckhaber, 19, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI, unlawful consumption of alcohol, speeding and driving while license suspended on Vandebrook Drive. A passenger, Zachary Allen, 23, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol.

Sept. 7: Phillip Tochtrop Jr., 43, of Waterloo, was arrested for two counts of domestic battery and one count of unlawful interference with the reporting of domestic violence in the 500 block of South Market Street.

Sept. 8: A crash involving a motorcycle and car occurred around 5:15 p.m. on South Market Street at Route 3. A 2002 Harley-Davidson driven by a 33-year-old Waterloo man collided with a Chrysler Town & Country driven by a 71-year-old Waterloo man. The motorcyclist and a female passenger were transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
