Columbia Police

Nov. 20

Matthew C. Rautman, 27, of Columbia, was charged with theft and criminal trespass to property following an incident at 167 Skyline Drive in which a ladder style tree stand was taken.

Nov. 21

Employees at three Columbia businesses were cited after they allegedly sold alcohol to underage persons. Charged with two counts each of unlawful sale of alcohol to minors are Sarah Matlock, 31, of Columbia, at Merz on Main; Jodi Garrett, 37, of Dupo, at TopShooters; and Laura Rutledge, 50, of Dupo, at Columbia Market.

Christopher Bailey, 28, and Shannon Arnold, 25, both of Granite City, were picked up earlier this week on charges of residential burglary following an incident that occurred Nov. 11 at 132 Country Ridge in Columbia. Both remain in the Monroe County Jail with bond set at $20,000 each.

Nov. 22

Devan C. Munie, 20, of Columbia, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brandi N. Weatherford, 25, of Columbia, was charged with felony theft following a Nov. 16 incident at Bully’s Smokehouse in which more than $500 in currency was allegedly stolen.

Valmeyer Police

Nov. 18

The undercarriage of a 2011 Chevrolet Impala patrol car driven by Valmeyer police officer James R. Vogt was damaged shortly after 9 p.m., after the car was driven into a large hole in the roadway on South Cedar Bluff Drive south of Harrisonville Drive where concrete had been moved for repair. The hole was marked with orange cones, the accident report states, but the cones were spaced wide enough for a car to drive between them. No injuries were reported.

Nov. 23

Ryan L. Hamlin, 18, of Waterloo, was arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Waterloo Police

Nov. 21

Employees at two Waterloo businesses were cited after they allegedly sold alcohol to underage persons. Charged with unlawful sales of alcohol to a minor are Rose Kettler, 52, of Waterloo, at Wayne’s One Stop; and Audra Buckley, 35, of Waterloo, at Tequila Mexican Restaurant.

Nov. 22

Charlotte Todd, 45, and William McDaniel Jr., 42, both of Waterloo, were each charged with domestic battery.
