The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School basketball player Norah Gum. The 6-foot-tall junior leads the Bulldogs in scoring and rebounding this season at 17.5 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. She averaged over 23 points per game as Waterloo won last week’s Candy Cane Classic at Gibault, taking home tourney MVP honors.
