Emergency personnel responded shortly after 3:30 p.m. Monday to a medical incident involving a young child in the 500 block of East Fourth Street in Waterloo.

Responding agencies included the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, Waterloo Police Department and Monroe County EMS.

One person was rushed to an area hospital.
