The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Illinois Firecrackers 18U Adkins select softball squad. The team, which includes Waterloo High School softball standouts Samantha Juelfs and Mallory Thompson, recently placed first out of 79 squads in the Great Lakes Firecracker tournament.
